
GRAND MASTER CHONG LEE (1938-2017)
9TH DAN
He began teaching in 1964 and has trained more Canadians than any other instructor in the country. He has been a trainer for the Canadian national team for 23 consecutive years.
Grand Master Lee has been credited for introducing Taekwondo in Canada.
He made taekowndo a way of life. He was still teaching for two weeks before dying in 2017.
He bequeathed a precious legacy to the Academy and all those who knew him.

He has 34 years of experience, 8x National Champion, 1999 Canadian mvp and overall best male fighter.
2004 Olympic selection team member and 2004 Olympic flag bearer. 2 X Pan American Medalist. Canadian National Taekwondo Team Captain. Canadian National Coach and Trainer. World Taekwondo Hall Of Fame recipient and World Taekwondo Hall Of Fame Technical Advisor for Canada. Head Coach at Chong Lee Taekwondo Academy.
7th Dan, US open medalist.
