Traditional Taekwondo Poomse courses are based on the traditional set of Taekwondo forms and movements. Poomse involves a variety of movements, including punches, kicks, elbows and knees, which encompass the foundation of the sport.
Traditional Taekwondo movements may resemble those used competitively, but they are used primarily as a way of developing mental and physical fortitude. Beneficial to the development of self-defense and self-confidence, the movements are nevertheless more relaxed and meditative than other Chong Lee courses. Chong Lee Poomse students of all ages, in fact, are encouraged to train at their own rhythm.
The Traditional Taekwondo (Poomse) course is offered in both small and larger sized groups. Private Poomse classes and seminars are also available.
